Privacy policy
KevStudios builds websites for local businesses. This page explains what personal information we collect and what we do with it. The short version: we only use it to reply to you and to do the work you ask us to do.
What we collect
When you fill in the contact form on this site, we receive what you type: your name, business name, email address, phone number if you give it, and your message. Nothing is collected behind the scenes.
What we use it for
- To reply to your enquiry and, if you become a client, to build and look after your website.
- Nothing else. You will not be added to a mailing list and your details are never sold or shared for marketing.
Where it lives
Form submissions are processed by Netlify, which hosts this site, and arrive in our business email, which is hosted by Microsoft 365. Both providers store data securely and act only on our instructions.
Cookies and tracking
We use Google Analytics to understand how visitors use the site: which pages get read, roughly where visitors come from, nothing more. It only sets cookies if you press Accept on the notice that appears on your first visit; decline and no analytics cookies are set. We do not use advertising trackers, and your choice is remembered on your device.
How long we keep it
If you enquire and we don't end up working together, we delete your details within 12 months. If you become a client, we keep your contact details for as long as we work together, plus what UK tax rules require us to keep for invoicing.
Your rights
Under UK data protection law you can ask us what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Email us and it's done. If you're unhappy with how we've handled your data, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
